Hello everyone!

I am delighted to say, a HUGE, "Hello" to you all once more. I am really pleased to be back at work here in Kilchuimen Primary. I also have to say, many thanks to Mr Morrison for all his hard work over the course of the year. The children and staff have enjoyed working him, and I have heard many lovely reports. This is a bust term, and we really hope that the recent good weather will be kind to us. On Wednesday we have a Jubilee picnic at lunch time. Mrs Curly has been cooking up a storm. We are all going to wear our beautiful crowns during the lunch. On Thursday are going to have our sports day, this is weather permitting. I hope that we don't get the weather which is on the forecast. Please call the school hotline to find out if the event is on if you are in any doubt. We look forward to seeing you there. The Olympic Torch is passing through the village on Saturday 9th June. The school is having a fete from 1.00 - 3.30pm we are looking for helpers, baking and bottle and raffle prizes. We hope to see as many of you there as possible. There will be Walk on Water balls as well as archery, a bouncy castle, and a variety of stalls. On Monday 11th June we are going to be visited by Education Scotland, we look forward to their help and advice. With the end of term approaching we will be saying a very sad, "goodbye" to Mrs Pargetar. She has worked in the school for many years and is a valuable member of our team, we are going to be very sorry to loose her as she retires. Should you like to put a small donation to her presentation please leave any donations at the school office. On 29th June we will be having our usual prize giving service in the church at 10.00 More details to follow. In the mean time, thank you for making me feel so welcome back. Kindest regards W S Scollay
